The answer is that people are less spiritual, empathetic and humanistic. More and more people are concerned about themselves rather than their fellow man. Creating peace in your immediate environment doesn't seem to be a focus anymore. We live in an evil age. We should definitely try a different approach and try to be better people. We are all human beings and we are all connected. Once people realize this fact, the world will turn in a positive direction. Everyone on the planet has the potential for good or evil. It's a choice we make every minute of the day.

The world is becoming more violent every day because of the fact that Jesus is comming soon. That is how the bible describes the end of days. It will only get worse before it gets better. Infact it won't get better LOL ya its going to get worse here on earth. The ones who believe will be gone and for them it will be better.

We are living in what the Bible calls "The last days". God tells us that in the end times people's hearts will begin to wax cold. People are beginning to get more and more self-centered, willing to do anything it takes to get what they want, and a lot of the time, that includes violence. I'm sorry to tell you this, but things are going to get a whole lot worse in the future before Jesus returns.
Make sure you are saved and Jesus will come back for you before things get unbearable.

Ever wonder why the news media has to go around the world to report the violence? Perhaps, because there is so little to report!
Only an ignorant fool would think the world is more violent today. Today, in the United States you are safer than at any other time or location in the history of the world. To deny that violence happens is not correct either. Today, the violence is honored and fanned by the multi-media. It is made of ever greater importance so they can sell their product/publication(s). And worse still, they do not report the news today, they report their agenda, opinion and propaganda. Not a hundred and fifty years ago, news, any news, could take months and months of time to get to anyone. And, just imagine also all the news you missed that never got to you. Today, you can get the news from around the world in an instant. Only the speed of news coverage has changed. Rest assured the uglyness of man never rest and will visit those who do not heed that uglyness. That you don't think it could happen here is also ignorant foolishness.
You live in a nation free from daily terrorist bombings. You live in a nation free from political thugs who kill 30,000,000 or more of their peoples (by the way, don't for the greater millions they also thugged and tortured and did not kill). You live in a nation who has health care. You live in a nation you can breathe the air of freedom. You live in a nation where your chance to become anything you want to become is yours for the effort. You live in a nation where you can obtain an education - not so in many other nations. That this was given to you to enjoy by the blood and death of other Americans citizens should give you pause to think.
What you better wake up to, that because other nations and peoples have had their chance to rule the world and failed, it is their jealously that brings their hate in our direction. We are busy learning and caring about other peoples and their cultures all the while they are channeling their hate to bring this nation both harm and terror - this, recognize the evidence of 911 and other events. You better recognize also many of these people not only hate us - they want you and me and everyone else of this nation dead.
The fact is, we have a nation of leaders who are afraid to lead. You want to feel safe, give those who gives us their unearned hate something to really hate us for. It is because we are non-violent that this nation is perceived as weak. That perceive national weakness invites their aggression. That our leaders have no testicles makes them less as leaders.
Just this last week, a friend of mine in conveying a thought apologized he was of family stock that others would describe as back country ignorant 'hicks'; I reminded him that it was back country hicks and city folk who kicked British and French butt out of this country in the creation of this nation. They have earned their right to live and enjoy this nation. Such is the power of the collective individual participation, and that participation created a nation. To create this nation it took violence or today we would all still be living as oppressed British subjects subject to the whims of arrogant Kings and their royal greed and harsh cruel oppressive tyranny.
Let the world know, that all it takes is a push of a button to eliminate their hate and warring - and do it once or twice, may make them quell their hatred; that is if there is anyone left in their nations after you pushed the button.
I am all for letting other people and nations live the way they want to live, but when they bring hatred and the elements of war to my door step - I will defend myself, my family, my home, my town, my state and my nation. Let the world know if they hurt anyone of my nation, they hurt me, I will respond with a speed and fury never seen on the face of this earth before. The way I see it, if any nation and its people don't want to live peacefully with the others of this world, as the corruptive agent, the corruptive cancer, eliminate that nation and peoples from the face of this world so the others that would live peacefully can live in peace.
Which is a polite way of saying, in my world there would be peace - of else. And I don't mean peace after years and years of fruitless talks that accomplish nothing while war preparation and planning takes place. I mean peace today - or I will leave a cindered nation devoid of all hate and all peoples.
I ask of you, what have you done to earn your freedom? What blood have you spilled? What death have you given to earn the right to be free? Freedom , peace comes at a price, so let any violence or aggression come with a price as well.
No, the world is not getting more violent, but it will if you don't and won't stand up on your own two feet to ensure that freedom reigns.
