get out of the house. do what you normally do. even work out for around twenty minutes. trust me, it works. unless you have something close to the flu.

you are doing all the right things, but a cold is a virus and wil run it's course no matter what. I would recommend as soon as you feel the first signs of a cold, take Echinacea drops in a glass of water twicw a day; take vit. C, at least 1000 mg a day, and drink, drink, lots of water. you may head the cold off, but even if you don't you can minimise it's effects

Well... There's no quick solution to anything in the world... Hmm... but you might want to start off by cutting down on the vitamins and minerals, because it'll worsen your immune system if you overdo it. You should take multiple walks outside (wear appropriate clothing) and drink plenty of water. Your body releases about 2 litres of water per day, so it's vital to drink 2 litres or more of water per day, especially if you're sick. But, in general, I wouldn't worry about it too much, colds pass by quite quickly. Best of luck, Joanne.

no real answer, the zinc and vit c stuff sometimes help, but the main thing is staying out of bad weather, and using cold medicines for the runny nose, coughing, etc. Be sure and look at the back of your medicines because different cold medicines usually contain similar ingredients, and took much antihistamines can make you sleepy, too much decongestants can make you irritable.
