I loved the Bourne series. In fact I seem to like all novels about modern day spies.

Frederick Forsyth. Tom Clancy (though he's very anal about details regarding technology - makes the book drag). You might also like some of John Grisham's legeal thrillers. And last, but not least, one of the greatest writers of all time - Trevanian (Shibumi and The Eiger Sanction and The Loo Sanction are all top notch).
