Dark Pheonix VS Galactus?

I really, really WANT to say Galactus, but I think that Dark Phoenix is powerful enough to damage Galactus. Galactus is solely after the energy and matter inherant in planets, while Dark Phoenix has control over energies and some matter, so I think I would have to RELUCTANTLY cede the victory to Dark Phoenix. This is a great VS scenario, BTW.

Galactus and Dark Pheonix are about the same power level, I think. My money is still on Big G.

While Silver Surfer possesses the power cosmic, it is limited by a number of factors and much more easily nullified than those of the Dark Phoenix. While Silver Surfer can blast things, move at high speeds, and accomplish various other amazing feats, Dark Phoenix can do almost anything. She's turned trees to gold and even split apart the molecules of human beings. Dark Phoenix would soundly win this match up unless Silver Surfer somehow isolated the Phoenix force from its host (not likely).

Why can't they just get along together, instead?

Personally, I think that Galactus and Dark Phoenix would make a cute couple. She'd teach him to suck the energy out of something besides a planet...! (Probably make Nova jealous, but hey, in space, no one can hear you scream with ecstacy-- there are no nosy neighbors except Uatu.)
