I noticed the other day that Lippi was manager of both Inter and Juventus (who are derby rivals) Sven Goran Eriksson was manager of both Roma and Lazio. Ancelloti was manager of Juventus and AC Milan.

So could a manager manager Lazio, Roma, Inter, AC Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina in his managerment career?

And how would fans react if someone went to Lazio from Roma but then wanted to return to Roma?

Also lastly, how did Juventus fans first react when Lippi left for Inter and then returned to Juventus?

I guess my real question is not just why can managers do this but also why to fans except it?

Italian managers seem to be able to go anywhere there's a vacancy. Probably because there's not many young managers, so they simply rotate their clubs with one another.

I think the fans realise this too, and accept it. Rather an experienced manager who has once taken your rivals than an inexperienced newbie.

Eriksson was never manager of Roma, btw.

what difference there is if a player can go wherever his ambitions and reward wants,so is a manager his carrer is his own . I am a juventus fan. When Lippi left juve to go to inter i wished that he could do a bettere job than many managers who gambled their credibility by joining with Moratti 's INTER . however what inter needs is to change his patron.Inter needed a miracle Lippi is a great manager, but is not a saint.

Yes they can, as for how Juventus fans accepting it, we don't have much of a choice. I wasn't happy when Lippi left Juventus he's one of the best managers, but everyone looks out for their careers and money talks!
