no you cannot if its contract. because pay as you go phones work differently they have different imei codes and will lock the phone if you insert it, however if you get a pay as you go simcard from www.orange.co.uk for free you can do that instead.. :D hope this helps

Yes your sim will work as it is the same network. This applys to any other network as well, (e.g. if you buy an o2 sim you can use it on any phone that is bought with an O2 tariff). My best bet is to buy 1 out of these 2

yes it will work in any orange phone.Just remember that if you have a password for that sim it will still be needed when you put it in another orange phone.
