They are (or were) completely overrated. The average NFL fan doesn't know much about the game if they can put the Chicago Bears at the top of the power rankings on the ESPN fan vote. They haven't beaten any good teams. The best team that they beat was the Minnesota Vikings - and they are average at best. The other is the Seattle Seahawks - another mediocre squad. Yet they were ranked #1 for the last 3 weeks, even after nearly giving one away to another crappy squad, the Cardinals. They have the easiest schedule in the NFL, play in the weakest division, and have an offense that looks good only because they have gone against some of the worst defenses in the league.

Their next 3 games - Giants, Jets, and Patriots are going to be REAL tests for them. Can they even win one of these games? The Pats and the Giants are going to destroy that wimpy Chicago offense. Eli is going to slice up that overrated defense.

Bears are probably not even in the top 5 in the league.

Here is the deal if you look at their games and they way they played you will see they sometimes play down to their competition. They are the best team in the NFC and I think they will play like it and handle both of the New York teams the big test will be whether or not they can put together a complete game against New England. If the Bears play to their potential they will win all three games. Your assessment of the Bears is skewed and makes me think you really don't know that much about NFL
football. They did play Minnesota who has one pof ethe best D's in the league. Sure the Bears didn't put up a lot of points , but they won and that is what matters.
I'll make it simple for you, through the first half of the season the Bears have played poorly in two games and they won one of them. Other than that they did what they are supposed to do, they beat Minnesota who will be a playoff team and they pasted the bad teams on their schedule.
The Giants have better skill position players on Offense, but their line isn't good enough to stop a motivated Bears D. What happened when the Giants played Seattle? And what happened when the Bears played them? You are insane if you think Shawn Alexander makes that big of a difference.
The JEts just plain stink, so if their Bears play well that won't even be a contest.
The Pats only have two offensive weapons, Brady and Maroney. Again if the Bears play well those two won't be be enough of a factor to help out the Pats D, which the bears should be able to run on.
The Bears aren't the best team in the league right now, that is clearly the Colts. But the only problem the Bears team has is that they don't always show up to play. When they are at their best though they are right there with the Colts and are head and shoulders above the rest of the NFC.

The D is strong but the offense is fickle. I would say they will win at least one of the next 3. They are not as good as they have been playing but they are still one of the better teams in the NFC. That being said so are the Giants and the Patriots are in the AFC. Bears will end the season with 12 wins.

I say this is where Lovie and the Bears fall apart. I certainly wasn't expecting them to lose to the Dolphins, but I can PROMISE you that they will lose to the GIANTS. The Jets will most likely beat them and I have no doubt that the Patriots will beat them. After that they play the Vikings, the Steelers (that game won't be what I thought it was going to be), the Buccs, the Lions and they'll finish up with the Packers.

I think the only game that they'll most likely win is against the Jets. But all the teams will at least keep up with them. I think they'll lose the the Giants and the Patriots

Are u kidding? Look how good their defense is. They are to a top team. They've just had problems like any other respectable NFL team. Did u see their comeback against the cardinals? The cardinals aren't that great but it showed how an incredibly skilled def. can win games.

Not at all the bears have only played weak teams with losing records. They are going to get stomped the next three games and their loss to miami proves that their winning record was just a shame.

You can only be as good as you play and da bears played badly yesterday, what was with half of the teams yesterday? Sheesh...I agree that they'll win 2 out of 3 IF they get their stuff together and play like they mean it.
