In Greece in general avoid to eat in tourist areas. In Athens you will find good food in the area called Pagrati behind the old stadium and an area called Kesariani a little bit further up. For something more fashionable, more expensive and not necessarily better, try Colonaki area where you can also shop and have coffee during daytime

Germany is the size of Texas, Sweden is the twice the size of the UK or about the size of California. Greece covers quite a bit of area too.

If you don't want chain restaurant names, you're going to have to narrow it down to some cities.

On your way from Ireland to Sweden stop by in Hamburg: Fischerreihafen Restaurant. Fish Cuisine, real good but a little bit on the expensive side.

In greece its advisable not to visit "the best local restaurants"(our restaurants are known as TAVERNAS)cause most of them will overchange you is you are a tourist. the best is to grab a souvlaki from a SOUVLAGIDIKO. its filling and cost around 1.50-180euros.but if you prepared to pay then, when you arrive in greece just ask the locals to advise you on a local taverna in the area where you will be staying.
ENJOY YOU TRIP
