64-bit computing is faster, but may require programs written specifically for use with 64-bit processors. As to finding out about your processor, which operating system are you running?

This freeware program will tell you what type of CPU you have :

As for the difference between 32 & 64 bit .... here is a simple example:

"Which highway is faster, a 32 lane or a 64 lane ?" The answer is obvious ...unless you are using more than 32 cars (or a 64 bit program) it really does not make a difference.

Imagine these lanes as being data communication lines inside your PC .... that's basically it.

Essentially this refers to the amount of data a CPU can process each clock cycle. Since the 64 bit processors can handle more data each cycle, they theoretically run faster, although the difference is not nearly 2:1.

How old is your computer? If it isn't brand new, it will be a 32 bit processor. If you didn't build the PC yourself (if you did, I would assume you'd know what you put in it), you can check the front of your case for stickers, generally if it has a 64 bit processor, the manufacturer would want to advertise that.

This is a hard to answer question depending on your understanding in computer terms.
try read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/64-bit#32_vs_64_bit
it might give you a lil knowledge on 32bit and 64 bit computing.
