The check gauges light comes on then the oil gauge reads 0 and then it started knocking. I checked oil and its at the full level.I changed my oil 2 months ago.I even just changed it when this started to happened and the oil was thick almost like sludge like. After doing so the knoking stoped and gauges were normal again. but the next day it started doing the same thing again.Can anybody help me?

This isn't going to be an easy or simple fix. I think you should take it to your repair facility or to the dealer for diagnostics. There is clearly something contaminating your engine oil, and must be addressed soon, or further engine damage could result. In ANY event, your ride isn't dependable at this point.

If you are lucky, the oil pan can be removed, the pickup screen and pan cleaned out, and if no real metal shavings found can be put back together and be fine. What is in the pickup screen are burnt oil type sludge that will not let the oil pass thru.
