Is it in gear?
Is it an automatic or a manual?
Manual:
Bad clutch, pressure plate, broken linkage.
If it is an automatic:
Low on fluid, torque converter, valve body, linkage, clutch packs, gears.

TRANSMISSION GAVE OUT. it wont go into gear your engine is still good but tranny needs to be replaced

first of all is it a manual or automatic, second does it go into any gear, and before you answer these questions have you made sure that the emergency brake is not applied?
