Going to regular clubs to promote, I understand. Going to strip clubs, no. I work as an exotic dancer and have never seen anyone promoting (usually soliciting is not allowed). Men in strip clubs aren't going for the music.
Tell him to find another place to make his "connections", he's not going to find them in some stripper's g-string.

You make a lot of whore connections is all. If my husband ever said something like that id slap him. There is no reason to go to a strip club why get married. You get tempted to do something more. Isnt a wife worth not going at all? I like the answer above me. I dont want a ***** dancing naked for my husband. Come home and i would do that for him. You know what i mean. What can he get there that he cant get at home?

I think maybe you should do some investigating into the scenario. In the meantime, give him the benefit of the doubt. When things change, like coming home at various times etc, other suspicious activity...and the answers are still the same old answers as now?
Then step up investigating until you are satisfied with your relationship and can see no problems with his lifestyle.
Plus, is he supporting your lifestyle with his "work"? You may not want to cross that "bite the hands that feed you" because it bites back.

I have to agree with toobusy on this. I can't say that your husband isn't up to anything, but strip clubs aren't as bad as you might think. My sister is a dancer, and she is very professional. The men are not allowed to touch, and most of them are only there to socialize and drink. Of course, men love to look at naked women. That's their nature. If that's all he's doing, then be grateful. Maybe one night you could ask if he would like to go to a club with you and go to one that he says he's been to. Check it out for yourself!

Sadly, what he is telling you is correct in many cases. Some guys like strip clubs anyway and others do go to network. Is what he is telling you true? Only you can make that decision.

No, but that would drive me nuts. My hubby is 36 and hasn't been in a strip club since he was 23. Any man who goes to them lacks maturity and responsibility - the fact that your husband does this, assumedly for "work" reasons is suspicious. Be wary!

How much money does he spend while he is at one? That should be your answer whether its a job thing or its a him having fun thing. Either way if he was my hubby I would be file for a divorce. I don't tolerate a naked slut dancing for my hubby.

He is your husband and if you've told him you don't like it then he should respect that and quit going. As far as using it for business connections.........duh, hello! You start going to male strip clubs and tell him you are using that to find new cook book recipes and see what he thinks then?
