You could have a "tipped uterus." I do.. it just means that it is tipped backwards.

You might google it.

Could be several things: the Dr.'s skill at doing PAPs, your cervix is high or tipped (out of its normal position), your anatomy is different. If you're concerned, seek another opinion.

How hard is "very hard"? It's pretty difficult to miss.

It might be you've got a slow-moving physician, or else a tipped uterus, which is a common, nondangerous variation on so-called "typical" anatomy. I wouldn't worry about it unless your doctor says it's something you need to be concerned about. You can always call the doctor up and ask about it, or ask them next time you go in.
