Thanks for all your answers.

You have been really helpful.

I have to pick an answer and it is so unfair, because you have all helped in one way or another.

I will let the question run until tomorrow and choose.

Once again a BIG T-H-A-N-K YOU

You're in luck -- I just ordered an iPod for my brother-in-law for Christmas, and I asked that very question. According to the sales rep I talked to at Apple, each iPod comes with a docking station that you can use to charge it up and hook it up to your computer. If you want to charge it someplace else you'll need to buy an adaptor, and these days you can get iPod accessories just about anywhere they sell electronics, including Target and Wal-Mart (and you can always order one directly from Apple).

The USB on a computer is good enough. A bit slow though. You can get a wall charher though. Quite cheap, think I saw one in Woolworths for 12 pounds.
