I'm Muslim and I can't find anything more suitable to say here than a quote from Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). This world is kicking against the pricks. Godlessness and corruption r taking over. Even the people from all religions alike r straying away from their paths. Revenge has outweighed all other values such as forgiveness and coexistence. I know it's not the most optimistic thing to say but the way I see it human hearts are changing to worse every passing day and we need to find a way to stop it or face worse consequences than these we r suffering now.

You should focus on positives in your life and the world around you. Where you see problems, help to solve them. Bitching about it all the time will just make you feel worse. Think you have it bad?? Do you know if you'll eat tonight? A few million people don't know.

Whether due to skin color or gender or national origin (to name a few reasons), someone will find a "good reason" to detest another

Because now we are getting into science and evolution, and we are loosing are spirituality. So we are losing our ability to forgive.
Then soon, since we can't forgive, we eventually hate an entire race, or religion, or gender.
