I would feel weird accpeting a car from my lover and we have been together for 3 years. I guess if she was able to buy me a car and she went and bought me one, I would probably accept it and be grateful. As it was something she wanted to do.
If we had only been together 2 months, I would be concerned if she bought me one, unless she had just won the lotto or something.

I understand your concern, as it is a little early to be buying/receiving gifts of such magnitude. You could tell your gf that it is a very generous offer, but you will have to decline it for now, as it would put a lot of unnecessary pressure on your blossoming relationship. Just say, you want to get to know each other better, and you don't want to give her the impression that you are in it for the money. If she is committed to this relationship, then she will understand.

Looks like things are going pretty fast. The question you should be asking yourself is if you're ok with the pace the relationship is going. If not, then you might want to ask her to slow things down a bit. If both of you are ok with how things are going, then enjoy the new ride.

is she buying you a new car or just buying you?
it depends upon the state of your relationship and the state of your current car.
if your relationship is healthy to start with, then she has no need to buy you, and therefore you can just be grateful, unless your relationship goes wrong and she is still paying for your new car.
maybe you need to ask her why she wants to buy you a car....
if you are asking us for advice, then maybe you are arlready questioning her motives and therefore you don't feel you can trust her yet. i would say it's difficult to know if you can trust someone you have only been seeing for two months. early days.

I'd be very careful, make sure she does not expect you to become a slave for the rest of your life. Even if she says there is no strings attached, we all know we-women change our minds very often. Have legal agreement, or don't get attached to the car too much, so you won't be disappointed once the car and her are gone. Good luck

This is a good question which is down to personal your situation. I would be concerened though this is not a normal thing to do and she will always have a hold over you if you except this car. It can only cause trouble so politly refuse this gift and look at other option's to get your car!

Personally, i would be a bit wary of this. Have you talked about the future regarding payments etc?
Even if she is loaded it is still very early in the relationship to be giving out such large gifts

Buy you a new car? What for? Be very concerned. I mean, are you going to allow her to but you a new car? Do you want it? Will it not diminish your macho image?
