you need to give us the question einstein.. if you are talking about a question showing a picture about the configuration of the internal parts of a cpu, such as the caches and arithmatic and logic unit then.. you just need to know the correct layout..
if you are talking about the configuration of a cpu in the software sense then it would be obviously different.... what kind of cpu, what is it in..... computer,controller... etc.
