I think the East will look like this:
1:Chicago Bulls
2:Miami Heat
3:New Jersey Nets
4:Clevland Cavaliers
5:Toronto Raptors ( These Are My Boys Baby!)
6:Washington Wizards
7:Philadelphia 76ers
8:Orlando Magic
And I think the west will look like this:
1:San Antonio Spurs
2:Los Angeles Clippers
3:Denver Nuggets
4:Dallas Maverics
5:Phoenix Suns
6:New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets
7:Los Angeles Lakers
8:Houston Rockets
I think The Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs are going to go to the finals and then I think The SA Spurs are going to come out victorious. But I still Want the Bulls to Win. I really like Ben Gordon, and I think he is going to be an all-star this year. But I think They Might Win Next year.I hope My boys the raptors are going to do good.
I understand that they have alot of new faces, but the GM (Bryan Collangelo) knows what he's doing.
In any situations I am always with the East baby!

You cannot possibly answer that question until the second half starts and you see who is the leading the league and there respective conferences' and who is battling for a playoff spot. There are going to be some sleeper teams this year so i cannot give you a solid answer.
GOD BLESS YOU and have a good day

not in specific order
EAST
1)Miami Heat- they're the champs. they should somehow go into the post season with Wade. Shaq's game is beginning to fade though.
2)Chicago Bulls-with Big Ben on the team and improved Hinrich on the back court, they should find their way into the playoffs.
3)Detroit Pistons-they might've lost Big Ben, but they still have Rip, Billups, Prince, and the other Wallace, which is Rasheed.
4)Cleveland Cavaliers-who else do they need?they have King James!
5)New Jersey Nets-Kidd may be getting older but nonetheless he keeps getting wiser. with Vinsanity and Jefferson with him, they secure a spot in the post season.
6)Indiana Pacers- well i think with the additon of Marquis Daniels, they'll be better this year.
7)Philadelpiha 76ers-they have the Answer, Webber, Korver..ah whatever.
8)Boston Celtics- they should be inspired by the loss of Red Auerbach(R.I.P.) and the new dancers maybe?.. i believe Paul Pierce has the ability to lead this team.
WEST-
1)San Antonio Spurs- it's simple. it's coz they're just damn good.
2)Dallas Mavericks- well this is my team!haha! anyway i think they're in not just cuz it's my team.. man they're good!they've constantly been in the playoffs since 2000-2001.they're the defending Western Conf. Champs!go Mavs!!^_^
3)Phoenix Suns- well they hava Amare back, with of course MVP Steve Nash...thanks to Mark Cuban, Nash reheat the Suns.
4)Houston Rockets- T-Mac and Yao should be like 'rockets' this season, you know, explosive and strong, or else, though they're both excellent players, they won't make it again.
5)Memphis Grizzlies-hope they won't get sweeped this time. go Pau!you look like Hugh Grant, i just hope you cut your hair. you're so damn good looking.
6)Denver Nuggets- with Melo who keeps getting better, the Nuggets are likely to be in the postseason again this year.
7)LA Lakers- the Lakers are still a good team even w/o Shaq, or Malone or Payton.. Odom is getting back to what he once was and Mr. Bryant now learns his word for the whole entire year..'PASS'.
8)Minnesota Timberwolves- i heard KG'S been practicing on his outside shooting..and he's been good at it..man, that must scare the hell out of the opposing teams!KG still rocks.

I don't know about 1-8, east and west, but I do finally think the Trailblazers are going in the right direction and might return to post-season play.
