No specific ayurvedic treatment for this disease however there are a few nutritional anti-inflammation treatments that could support whatever medicine you take.
There are several sections in this article below about inflammation and foods that help it.
I've seen great success with this combination:
1) Sesame seed oil (cooking with it and using it topically) I heard about this from a Deepak Chopra CD.
2) Fish Oil (filtered in capsules or liquid-cold only), and
3) Black cherry juice (drink it, very tasty.)
I wish you well!

Being an autoimmune disorder, a sure cure treatment for Polymyositis is not available with Ayurveda or Siddha. As a supportive therapy, a few treatments can be tried and results observed.

Consult Kotakal Arya Vaidya Sala, National institute of Siddha and ayurveda, Ayush, Medimix ayurveda centre in Sri Ramachandra medical collage and at Anna nagar (W) extn Chennai or Ayurvedasharam in GN Chetty Rd, Chennai. They may help you out.
