I know it seems scary-but they are less likely to get robbed living next to a cemetery.

Because the land and/or house is usually cheaper because most people don't want to live next to a cemetary, but some people really don't mind it.

I live opposite one. I have a lovely big detatched house in nice street, why would I choose against a great house because of that? It is quieter than having more houses across the road.
My bedroom overlooks the graveyard and I dont find it depressing at all - I dont know any one buried in it.

I grew up across the street from a cemetery, being around it every day kinda took away the creepiness of the place. We used to play in the mortuary's parking lot, and cut through the cemetery to go to school. It was a really nice neighborhood actually.

They like their peace and quiet. Although, I would not go outside
at night near a cemetery if I lived near one. I see alot of people
going for their daily walks on some cemetery grounds because
they are kept up and really look beautiful during the daytime.

Maybe because that is where the land is for sale. Yes I will admit it is creepy, but I have never seen anyone get up from their graves and start walking around. Sometimes that is all that is available and for the reasonable price
