(14x +21)/7.Divide 14x by 7 +21/7
=2x +3

This is really the same thing as 14X/7 + 21/7.

Well 14 divided by 7 is 2, so 14X/7 becomes 2X. and 21 divided by 7 becomes 3.

So adding these 2 together gives you 2X+3.

you cannot divide 14X+21 by 7. 14X+21 is considered as a single term. it is not the same as (14X/7)+(21/7) = 2X+3. so it is already in simpliest form.
