I am a substitute teacher I am paid to think but it is really stupid things I have to think about like, "Who threw that spit ball?" and "Is this that kid that stays gone forever when I let him go potty?" and "If I smack this child will he tell his Momma?" and "I don't care what YOUR teacher lets you do I am in charge today"
All in all I think quite hard at my work but to say the least I have fun doing it. So I am a happy worked indeed.

I'm going to college. =)
But I was paid to be a mindless happy worker when for a while when I worked as a busboy at a restaurant.

I actually am paid to think these days, after years of being a mindless bot. And I still have time to screw around on Yahoo.
Damn near an ideal job.

I am paid to share my educated opinion with others so they may use them to their own credit.
What is truly important thinking in my case is done for free on here. There are others that can use it to their own credit without my consent. Just like seeing one of my old yahoo jokes appear on a robot chicken. I am sure it was purely concidental and they had just came up with the same joke idea I did. Right down to the last detail.

free thinking is strongly discouraged at my company. The union gives us a false sense of having a say, but it's all an illusion.

I am a coordinator of 14 people, so basically i go to meeting all the time, act like i pay attention, and think up my own ways to fix the problems that the national leaders create.
