I'm a big fan of the books. The end is looming so, for a bit of fun, how would you have the story end for Harry and the others if you were writing it?

The one thing I don't want to read in the real story is Dumbledore coming back in a ghostly Obi Wan style giving Harry advice from beyond the grave. That would be a bit naff I think.

Well although you have all presumed Dumbledore is dead i think it is worth noting a few things, Harry only saw Dumbledores body for a few seconds, then they did not see his body in the funeral it was shrouded, you have to wonder wether it is an 'incentive' if you will, a bit like when Piper in Charmed had Leo taken away to make her strong enough to fight the evil.
Without Dumbledore, Harry will have to stop being soo foolhardy, there is no-one to save him from the 'adult world'.
I think that in destroying Voldemort the magic that he did since he 'became' Lord Voldemort, from Tom Marvelo Riddle would be undone, this has already been hinted to in the graveyard scene at the end of the Goblet of Fire. Therefore not only will Harry get his parents back, also Nevilles would get their sanity,
Two people are said to die in the next novel, and as JK has hinted it is 2 popular charators, i think it would need to be a Weasley, perhaps also Hermione or Neville.
In my version it would also become known that Harrys Aunt Petunia DID go to magic school and had not enough talent to get passed the 3rd year!
Finally it would end with Harry finding out he wa not the choosen one, it was Neville, and He turns up to save Harry in the 'Final Battle'.
Oh Lucius Malfoy dies, and his wife follows him in grief, Draco turns over a bitter new leaf!
Oh Snape is not really a baddy, he had to kill Dumbledore, and run away with Draco to protect him as he entered into the unbreakable vow with Draco's Mum, Narcissa, also that means that there is a strong possibility of Snape duelling with Voldemort, in a bid to protect Draco. Perhaps even Harry has to stand beside Snape and Draco to fight Voldemort in the final battle?
Onbviously Hermione and Ron fall 'in love', and of course despite what Harry says he will have to go to Hogwarts again next year, but i think it will be more interupted with visits outside, perhaps using the Whoomping Willow, and after having passed his and their (Ron and Hermione) Apparation tests.
Yep thats it!!!

Well, I think that Dumbledore is bound to appear in one of the picture frames in his old office! Surely that's a 'dead' cert (scuse the pun!)
I don't think that Harry will die, but I know someone major is going to so I'm thinking Ron. And perhaps Harry and Hermione will get together as they become very close following Ron's death. And I think that maybe it will turn out that Voldemort has been possessed by an evil force for all these years and will turn out to be good. The reason I say this is that Dumbledore was protecting Voldemort's name and there must be a very good reason why he was doing this!

Well, first of all I'd get Ron and Hermione together already! Maybe not kill Voldemort but use some freakish spell to change him into what he despises most (A Muggle). And Harry I think would become the Youngest Headmaster Hogwarts has ever had. After all, with what he's been through, he certainly would have the credentials.

I'm sorry to say but Dumbledore can't come back until nobody is faithful to him. I wish it could happen but in the 4 or 5 book I think they mention that they can't come back.

But if it was up to me I would bring back Sirius, I just hope Harry would have someone with him. But hopefully J.k doens't kill Harry at the end, but thats the rumor going around.

it probably won't happen but i think it would be interesting to see harry become this dark person, kill voldemort, and then go off the edge and become this terrible dark wizard. because throughout the series you see harry slowly growing darker and more angry. but it probably wont happen because harry is a good character. if he stays good then he won't kill voldemort because that would be contrary to his good nature. i also want harry to die. hard to say what will happen. there are a lot of variables. im excited! btw...dumbledore isn't really gone. he's a former headmaster and therefore will have his picture hanging in mcgonagall's office.

I think that Neville will have a big part to play- i wouldn't be totally surprised if harry died, and Neville killed voldemort. i would like to see more of Luna-my favourite character.
