All of these answers are good. Keep records and file a complaint, just as you would anyone else, if they are harassing you. Do not give them special treatment!! I use to help care for a quadraplegic grad student when I was in college. He was a jerk. We tend to be more forgiving of bad behavior, because of a person disability. But, I came to the conclusion that he would have been a jerk, no matter what his situation.

Confront them and tell them to stop.Just because someone is disabled, that does not give them the right to be abusive.
Do you think if a disabled person commits a crime, they dont go to jail?
We do not have to be a victim for anyone, that also includes people with disabilities.
I was in a Sams club one day and a disabled person was driving their mobile cart so fast, he almost ran down my 5 year old son.
I approached the store manager and told him that this person was driving very wreckless in the store and was going to run someone down. The manager addressed the problem and it stopped.

The same rules on harassment apply to all. If a person (regardless of whether they are disabled or not) is harassing others, then they have to be dealt with. Speak to your HR department and let them handle it.

WOW that's tough. I guess it might depend on how disabled they are. I mean... do they know right from wrong and if so they should be accountable just as any other person without a disability!

They are subject to the same rules against harassment as everyone else.

Just as there are laws to safeguard them, there are laws to safeguard everyone else. The laws are there so that everyone is treated equally, no matter what.

If you are having problems, report them to HR or a supervisor. Make sure you do it in writting.

Good luck.

Keep records, records, records. If you could elaborate on exactly why kind of harassing that would help.
