A vasectomy is nothing More than the cutting of the vasdeference, which is the path the sperm takes during ejaculation. You will have to under go microsurgery to reverse this, but with to days modern tech. it should not be a big problem. There is some shrinkage of the tubes after surgery and over the years, but prosthetic tubes can be inserted which will fix this problem. Best of luck!

I have read of successful vasectomy reversals after 20 years. As time goes on, the success rate and pregnancy rate decrease, but still are in the man's favour.

There are risks, such as blockage and rupture of spermatic tubes, which the man will have to discuss with his doctor.

Cost can range from $4000 to 20,000 depending on the doctor, difficulty of reattachment of the tubes and so on.

After a vasectomy sperm is blocked off from the semen and the body adjusts to stop producing sperm.

A vasectomy is considered permanent and while you can reverse the procedure there is no guarantee the man will produce sperm again.

Yes, but there is a low chance of fertility. It's expensive, and the reversal carries health risks post-operatively. Not worth the risks or the money.

I've heard that the procedure is reversible but the chances of him being able to fertilize are extremely rare.

Yes, they can be reversed. My brother had it done and had two more children after the reversal.

Depends on the procedure used. It is very unlikely. There could be ine chance in a million though. Best ask the dr who did it.

I've heard that it's reversable, but I have never heard any stipulations.
