My friend bugged me till I did an oyster shooter. I have always questioned her judgement, but she has always questioned mine. That's why we have been best friends for 28 years.

Lots of my friends suggest a lot of different things, foods, movies, books, clothing, and things of that nature. I have been disgusted by things they have suggested, but I think their tastes and mine conflicted. I don't trust my friend any less, just his tastes. My friends are my friends no matter what, I don't have to agree with what they like or dislike. Hope this helps.

Yes, but I know everybody has different tastes. So, to answer your second question, no it didn't affect what I thought of my friend's judgement.

I was at a job interview and one of the interviewers ordered oysters in the half shell-uncooked. She offered me one, saying they were delicious.

Wanting to make a good impression, I took one and ate it. Bleahhhhhhhh. Cool, slimy and very weird tasting.

I did get a job offer-so I must have been able to hide my disgust fairly well.

I was a guest at someone's house and she had specially prepared pigs' brains for dinner. I held my breath and forced myself to eat it. Needless to say, I didn't like it and I never had it again. That might have been a good time to become a vegetarian, after all was said and done...

Yeah, I have done that, but I'm not that openminded about food anyway.
