Why do you think almost all of the religious answers got shot down in reference to this question? People won't answer complicated questions, so when you give them an easy one, they put it down, especially when it involves belief.

Accepting the beliefs of a religion, any religion, means accepting responsibility. Sure there are hypocrites among us. God doesn't intend that we be perfect. That is impossible. But He does want us to strive to live the best life we can according to His commandments. The people who vehemently shun religion are afraid to commit themselves to the belief that there is an afterlife, and that we must answer for our choices in that afterlife. The people who automatically shoot down any answer that related to God, religion or anything else that they cannot comply with, are no better than schoolyard bullies. They want their choices, but instantly deny us ours. The best we can do is turn the other cheek. They don't have to answer to us. But they will have to answer for their choices (or lack of) at some point.

our society is definitely becoming too politically correct and it really is no good. i think that most of the religious answers were probably shot down because these days honestly it just seems like having some sort of faith in God or really anything else just isn't in style. people always seem to be ridiculed for having any sort of thoughts or beliefs regarding their religion. what is interesting is that it seems like Christians are always being criticized for not being accepting of other people, but no one is very accepting of Christians and letting them believe what they believe. it's just a thought. people these days are too guarded with what they say and what they believe. no one is real. everyone is hiding beneath some sort of costume that they hope everyone else will approve of.

i do no longer hate them. the element i do unlike approximately some atheists regardless of the shown fact it somewhat is that i do no longer even attempt to transform them or discriminate them for no longer believing what i've got faith, yet yet they think of they have the nerve to objective to deliver me out of Christianity and make me experience stupid, even nevertheless I somewhat have the desirable to have faith despite i've got faith is actual, as do they. Your forgetting that persons of each and every faith/theory equipment is accountable of discriminating others and being immature approximately it, atheists too. i think of all of us ought to end judging people by potential of what they suspect, I propose, that's what every person right here has to comprehend. interior the grownup international, we seem at people by potential of who they are as a individual, no longer by potential of ways they elect to stay their stay, nor their epidermis coloration, gender, sexuality, and so on.
