I plan on going to an Oriental Grand Prix next season, which should I pick: Japan or China?

I'd like to see a good grand prix and a little bit of the country too.
If anyone has been to either races recently, can you suggest which grandstand is best to sit in too?

Tickets for this years Chinese race were $565 for a two day Sat/Sun ticket on the main grandstand.

I think it really depends on which country you want to see most. The Japanese grand orix will be at Fuji next year as apposed to Suzuka where it's been for the past decade.

I imagine Japan is a lot more expensive to visit as a tourist, especially if you go to places such as Tokyo.

Actually watching an F1 race at a circuit can be a little boring! I am a huge fan and have been to a few races, but the race itself can get a bit boring after 60 odd laps. But that's only a part of the weekend, obviously you get to walk around the circuit and watch the warm-ups, qulifying from different spots.

So when it comes to actually WATCHING an F1 race, I don't think there will be much to choose as you'll be limited to a seat for the race itself. The decision really is based on which country you'd rather visit!

Make a week off it though. Get there on Wednesday & leave on Wednesday. The party's are the best on the planet!

I haven't been to either, but I think China would be a lot cheaper.

you could wait till 2009 and go to the new south korean grand prix
pretty intresting course.half monaco half every other track.
