Usually no, these files are small. Do a search for large files on the disk to find out what is taking up the space.

Deleting Anything can free up space, it depends how many pages you have in each file and how much free space you actually need. One mp3 song of five minutes is as much as an average 40 10-page documents :)

generally, NO. MS Word files are very less in size, unless they contain many pages. generally a word document will not exceed a few hundred KB. if ur word files contain images etc, then the size increases substantially.

so, u need to delte some other files which are bigger in size to free up ur hard drive.

the variety of documents does not make a distinction, however the total volume of area it takes up does. i've got considered many MP3 documents that have long gone from the backside from approximately 1MB to a optimal of 8. in case you do no longer % to delete the documents, you could consistently compress the documents, or you could decrease the filesize via lowering the bitrate(in spite of the undeniable fact that lowering it may decrease length of the record, in spite of the undeniable fact that it compromises the audio high quality).
