A CAT

2006-11-06 05:09:53 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I have a cat who catches mice in my home and then brings them to me as a present. EEEEKKKK! Look for entraces and seal them off. But I think a sweet kitty like my JoJo is the best way to go. He's caught two in the past two years. Always as the weather turns cold. I think that's probably when they come in too.

If the problem is reoccuring try to rid your home of places where the mice are staying and reproducing. If you have piles of clothes, junk, etc. in dark areas of your home remove the cluster. Also try to find where the mice are entering your home and seal it off.

Yes. There are devices that you can plug in that emit a high pitch frequency that humans and larger pets cannot hear, but drives mice away. (But if you have any other rodents such as rabbits, gerbils, hamsters or guinea pigs it will bother them too). Check online.

use some peanut butter and put it in the traps (just a little) that will make tha trap more attractive because of the smell, or if this doesn't work you should call pest control.

BEST THING TO DO THAT DOESN'T COST MUCH IS GET YOURSELF SOME INSTANT POTATOES, PLACE THEM ALL AROUND YOU HAVE SEEN MICE AND IT WILL KILL THEM, WITHOUT HURTING OTHER MOTHER NATURES CREATURES. THEY WILL EAT A LOT OF IT, BECAUSE IT JUST FLAKES AND THEN THEY DRINK WATER, THE POTATOES WILL GROW IN THERE STOMACHS AND KILL THEM. ME AND MY HUSBAND DID IT AND IT WORKED GREAT.
