I do it all the time, and normally it is funny.
The 16 year old working the intercom normally doesn't know how to respond.
Try it out...it is fun to see how they react.
Most of the time they laugh.

I've never tried that, but I like to ask for a cheeseburger with no cheese! That really gets them confused and they usually think I'm serious!

I used to work at a drive thru when I was a teen and I heard that every third car.
It's a stupid joke, it's not unique and I was not one of those idiots stupid enough to fall for it. I would just say "Well, that's why you are in the drive thru sir"
