I think that Bush has touted himself as a religious leader. I feel that Bush can be viewed by anyone as anything, so yes, some do. I think this is probably the worst thing that could happen. God must have told him to invade Iraq.

No, I think they see him as their President. Most intelligent people know and desire a separation of church and state. As far as legitimacy of the question, it would be like asking whether Democrats saw Clinton as a type of religious leader (clearly a very secular religion)?

I do not think of him as any sort of a religious leader whatsoever. He is the President of the United States, not a pastor.
