make sure you are getting prescription lenses. if you have sensitive eyes, dont order through lens direct, go to an eye doctor. They can suggest the ideal brand for you.

The best type of contact lens is based on the usage you are looking for, the nature of your eye, and the environment you live in.
Always visit an eye doctor before deciding on which brand of contact lens to go with as some types of contact lenses may be reactive to your eyes. In addition, each person has a different shape of their eye as well as general size of their eye. Different contact lenses come in different sizes and curves for this reason . Wearing lenses which are not fitted in your eye can result in damage to your eye, possibly including infection and loss of vision.
For comfort, I'd recommend a daily-replacement lens such as a Focus Dailies, as these lenses tend to be thinner than most others. If you plan on wearing an extended wear lens (one you can keep in your eyes), go with one of the newer material silicon hydrogel type of lenses, such as the Focus Night and Day or Accuvue Oasys lens. These lenses have a much higher oxygen transmissability than lenses manufactured before three years ago and are getting better and better all the time.
Your eye doctor can recommend the best lens type for you based on your specific needs, but make sure you let them know if you have a tendency to keep your lenses in longer than suggested or how often you wish to replace your lenses. Any disposable lens should be available to you as a free trial before you purchase your lenses to insure that the lenses are comfortable, though annual replacement lenses (which usually come in vials and are generally replaced on a yearly or bi-yearly basis) do not.

My favorite is Focus Dailies.
Daily disposable contacts are the best for your eyes as they minimize exposing your eye to build-up, allergens and infectious agents
.
The comfort of the lens will depend on the curvature and size of eye and the brand that more closely corresponds to that. You should go and try out some different types.

I've had the Focus Day & Night lenses for years. You can wear them for up to 30 days per pair (sleep in them too), then toss and put in a new pair. I take mine out for a day or so each week to give my eyes a break, but I think they're great. And I can see the alarm clock in the morning now...my eyes are so bad that I'm not able to read the clock if I'm not wearing my contacts or glasses.

I use 1-Day Accuvue because I am allergic to the proteins my own eyes secrete. By wearing these, I'm only exposed to an extremely limited amount because I toss the pair right after wearing them. If I didn't have this problem, I'd most likely go back to monthly lenses because they are cheaper.

Focus Monthlys are great. You take them out at night, of course, and then throw them out after a month. I have been using them for 15 years!

I liked Acuvue; and I preferred the longwearing kind, but they're not as good if you have allergies, your lenses will get sticky and nasty, and you'd be better off with the daily ones.

I use Baush & Lomb disposables. You wear them for two weeks and then toss them. They are soft lenses that are very comfortable.
I wouldn't get anything besides soft lenses. Other types are very hard to take care of.
