The Military Times is NOT connected to the military! It is an outside agency who happens to publish newspapers read, primarily, by service people. It is NOT the same thing as "Stars and Stripes" or the Armed Services Broadcasting Networks. Therefore, what the Military Times writes is NOT necessarily the opinion of the military. Let's tell the whole truth!

The legacy media left out the fact the Military Times is a private publication FOR the military, not BY the military. So, they're private editors just like the WP and NYT.

This isn't really the decision of the military, it is the decision of a single writer. The Military Times isn't endorsed by the Military, just like the New York Times isn't the word of all New Yorkers, and isn't endorsed by "New York". It's just some writer opinion, probably not even active in the military.

Who is the publisher? The publisher sets policy in his publication & doesn't have to agree with Bush.
