I am thinking of playing world of warcraft but I heard you have to give credit card details and you get billed for how long you use it?!?

There was another rumor I heard saying that, you have to constantly buy premium cards to play online????

PLEASE tell me the facts about this game and also tell me which version to get (newest one)

Bassicly Its 13$ per account per month. not per charecter. Per account. It adds up but its worth it. Its a great game you can get it at any retail game store including stores such as walmart or gamespot. You make a charecter and you lvl it up buy killing diffrent foes doing certain quests and adventuring though duengons. And exploreing the world.

There's 2 billing options. One is the "account" based, where it debits from a credit card or bank account. The other is by pre-paid cards - you buy a month at a time, and input the card's secret code to credit for time.

In either case, you get charged on a monthly basis - you can play as long as you want during that month.

You do have to give credit card information. They bill your card every month, its 14.95 i believe. You dont need any premium cards or anything like that. There is currently only one version with the expansion due out in january. Awesome game though!!

Yeah its true that you have to give them your credit card details over there web-site.. or you can goto Future shop, EB Games etc. and purchase a 60 day game card.

But if you chose to pay with your credit card you can chose how many months you get to play, and i believe its a bit cheaper.

You have to buy the game, then after like 30 days or so of the free period they will start billing you monthly $10+.
