This whole matter was set in perfect timing to get votes, I doubt that his conviction will get overturned, they just want votes, they don't care about what type of cruel and unusual punishment that he gets, they just want to prove that even though they did not catch bin laden at least they hanged Saddam, then as usual there will be a lot of votes casted for them, they are just counting on our ignorance, which is why they don't reform our high school education system, which sucks, just so that they can keep us average, so that we cannot rationalize too well about matters of detrimental consequences.

Neither. Just like most on death row, the tax payers will pay through the roof on appeals while he is also living off of the state (food shelter and security). I agree that this was just some smoke and mirrors to give the illusion that he is being punished. I bet his last years are better than what he had in his hole in the ground. Wonder what happened to those TRULY responsible for 9/11?

The appeals process will probably well into next year, if he doesn't beat it by appealing, they have 30 days in which to hang him, I think he is going to swing like a kid in a park!

Unfortunately, it will take years to find out. There is no time limit on the appeal process.

this man will never hang one the USA don't want any more violent killing than they already have over there . this was just smoke and mirrors to sway votes for the republicans

i believe he will be hanged sooner or later. or else the govt will have nothin to show to the ppl for the iraq war, elections bein round the corner.
