Hey pops, 1969 was the best year for music so I guess it has to be the sixties. Peace to you old dude.

I like the sixties too, and i'm only 23!

The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Kinks, Beach Boys, Troggs, Simon & Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, Motown, The Doors, Tom Jones, Small Faces it's like a who's who of rock royalty.

The early eighties were good also with lots of top bands at their peak but the sixties were tops as everything was fresh and new.

I like a bit of everything really.
I love the 80s, but i grew up with the 90s stuff and i quite like the dance music thats out at the moment.
If I had to chose just the one though, it would have to be the 80s - you cant beat a night out at an 80s themed club, great music!

Until about 6 or 7 years ago I was well into the 80s. Nowadays I'm more into the 90s. Maybe I'm just a decade behind everyone else!

There are good and bad songs from all decades ,It is great when you can listen to a wider variety of music without having to look cool.

I have a wide range of music, some for nostalgia some to dance to some to chill to. I was born in 1974 but Listen to songs from the 50's Right up to the present,What ever provokes a positive response is ok with me.

My children can sing along to all of them .Never limit yourself to one Genre either .George formby was the eminem of his day with his dope lyrics .

I am listening to Lois Armstrong right now 'Gone fishin'

Just to add my 6 year old daughter is happily singing along while doodling it is a sheer delight.Pass me a tissue please

It's got to be the 70's - most of the tunes were soooo cheesy! Also, as has been mentioned, most of the party songs are from the 70's, especially the Crimbo ones!!!

Best Tamla was in early 1970s too!!

I Love early 90's music, but I also grew up listening to 60's music. I like the new music that comes out, but only some of it.

60's and 70's are the best, good to sing along and dance along to. Even the young ones like this music when played at 'family' parties.

all music was by naturally tallented artists, and all song were about something other than sex!..unlike todays bullsh+t!
