i tried by going to the control panel n add/remove programs and then uninstall the symantec but its not getting uninstalled and asking for password and whenever i am clinking on start button,the symatec is getting connected. plz suggest me some other ways to uninstall it.

just delete all the folders named symantac, norton .try downloading regcleaner software install it in ur pc and run the software. it ll show the software installed in ur pc from there select symantec, norton and give remove selected tab which is at the bottom right side corner in regcleaner software

find the folder for the program open it and look for a uninstall and use that if you have to delete the folder just make sure that it's not running in the background. if that dont work go to there support site and try to find it there

Try to get System Mechanic software which will help to clear your registry entries of Symentech. Search the registry and delete all the Symentech links now it is un installed fully.

Go into safe mode and try to delete it from add/remove. This works for me when I have a stubborn program that won't delete.

just uninstal it by clicking uninstall in the program files where it is install in start menu.
