Why not both, if you've decided to make those decisions then be good at both. Be a good father by taking your kids to the park and spending QT with them and letting them know they are everything to you. Be a good husband by instilling and maintaing trust at ALL costs, and by letting her know she is beautiful not just telling her but showing her with a night out, a surprise date, a last minute picnic for just the two of you. Take some of the family issues off of her back, like planning a family vacation were all SHE has to do is pack and go. Show her that you want more for your life, maybe not in 6months but in due time. Keep things exciting not mundane, when she buys lingerie for just that night of passion, send her a card or flowers to let her know it was special. Let marriage become comfortable but never boring! Sometimes just letting things BE is also the same as letting them DIE! Cherish what is today and pray for it again tomorrow.

A good spouse is usually a good father ; but it isn't always so the other way around.
I have been blessed with a good husband ; who is also a great father..

Both.

That really wouldn't sit well with me if he was a good husband and a lousy dad =( I wish I didn't have kids in the first place if my other half wasn't able to share the growing experience with me. And I would feel strange if he was a good dad and a bad husband. I would end up divorcing him from lack of love and affection.

My husband has both qualities which I find are HOTT!

If you're being a good father, then you're being a good husband! Unless of course you are cheating on your wife. But me personally, I would rather have a good father, maybe you could teach your son to be a good dad and husband to his family one day and you can teach your daughter what to look for in a man when she gets older.

Easy a good father. That would make me feel so in love with him that being a good husband would naturally follow.

both because if a man is a good husband then he will be a good father. and good husbands and fathers are far and between but they are out there and I hope that you are both.

Why not both ?? If I had to choose I guess I would say good husband. That way at least the marriage stays together and the kids have dad in the house.

A good husband. Mothers usually do most of the child rearing anyway. As long as she has her husbands backing and support, then she can be a better mother and wife.
