Any Toshiba A 100 series laptop review would be handy!

It is suprising for me to get very negative reviews of Toshiba and not a single nice comment on it! But I always thought it is the most durable of laptops!!

About the Sony battery call up, is it possible that an onlice store is still selling models from that faulty batch??

A friend has one and just got it back from service. The cooling motor was cutting out and shutting down the computer. Also the battery was replaced due to concerns from Sony.

you would be able to could use the kind suggestion on the backside of the pc, as i do no longer remember particularly only an A100 the two. once you're there, verify and spot in the experience that your battery has been recalled. Toshiba does grant a restoration/reinstallation CD with all drivers preinstalled. that would have been a greater effective decision somewhat than utilising an XP installation disk without the drivers.

I have one that lasted me about 3 months before the hard drive died. Most recently... my screen cracked... now it won't detect my OS. Toshiba computers are great computers... but know that they are prone to problems before you invest money into them.
