or just take it and turn the other cheek? I know what the mature thing to do is but I am tired of feeling like a victim. What would you do?

Any time I ask a question like this is get some really mean answers saying how childish I'am and to get over it. I know how you feel though. I don't know what to tell you to do except make sure it's legal, remember karma, and don't get caught.

What goes around, comes around.
Everything that you do comes back to you.

So do what you want. Remember, that person already has sealed their fate, don't stoop as low - to their level like they did to you.

While you may not forgive them, you've got to stop allowing them to continually victimize you, by allowing your feelings to be hurt by their actions. Move on - yeah forget about it. The best revenge is to present a bold, confident face to them that says "You can't hurt me anymore I am not one of your victims". I have been in your shoes, I know! I stood up to a gang-banger was terrorized me and this time I stood up to him, He really worked me over. I then stood up, bloody, and said to him "Is that the best you can do bi**h" He looked at me and drew his fist back and just stopped. I didn't flinch - those cold eyes turned to fright. He turned and ran over to his truck. He never bothered ne again.

Don't allow yourself to be a victim.

when you say they did something very very bad..are we talking about physical pain ...that you are scarred for life ...then you are a victim of a violent crime which needs to be reported.....when you talk about revenge then it somehow tells be its your heart that hurts..if this is the case turn the other cheek and do not go down to their level...you are a better person than that....walk away ...but if it is a violent CRIME YOUR REVENGE IS REPORTING IT......hope I helped you and be safe...luv kara

You don't have to be a victim. BUT, forgive em, it'll teach both of you a lesson. Just set some boundaries and don't let it happen again.

why lower yourself down to their level....? What did he do? There would be no point in getting revenge because you are the better person

I would get revenge. Just make sure it isn't illegal or that it doesn't physically hurt the person.
