There is a Ladybird in our house and I let it out but it keeps crawling back into our bathroom. I was wondering how should I look after it. What do they eat? I think its injured hence the reason, it cant seem to fly.

I want to do all I can to help it. Should I buy a "house" for it, are there such things?

Sorry i dont know the answer but that is sooooooooo sweet! Every creature matters. I watched Planet Earth on T.V last night and it was heartbreaking to see how the Polar Bears are suffering. We need more caring people in this world! Bless ya.

I'm afraid it will probably die. If you still want to try and help, try to set it free somewhere open and grassy. You could collect a few leaves and things from your garden, put them in a container of some sort and put the ladybird in there.
To all the people who laugh at this question, I think that we should all do whatever we can to help nature and the environment. I also watched Planet Earth last night and I was so upset at how the creatures of the Arctic and Antarctic are suffering, as well as many others around the world. Please help, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

This is the time of year when Ladybirds migrate. I have a ton in my house right now and there is nothing I can do about it. I hate to say it but it's probably going to die. I have to sweep up all the dead one's in my house on a daily basis. They do sell ladybird "nests" in various gardening magazines but I'm not sure that they're for year round housing. Check with some gardening sites and do some research. Good luck.

If it's not an indigenous British species (e.g. 6-spot ladybird), kill it! We are being invaded :-( This invasion is not good for our own ladybirds or other insects.
