Become familiar with the test so that you know what the sections are about, the different types of questions each section will have and the allocated time you will have to finish each section. Practice as much as you can.

Prepare yourself. That is the most important thing. Get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and relax. Have your pencils sharpened and ready. Be a few minutes early, so you will not feel rushed. Smile.

The SAT has some preparation books and computer software available if you do a Google search for them. DO NOT Study for it the night before or just before the exam. This can cause what is called "retroactive interference" which comes from stretching your brain's abilities too much at once when cramming for exams. It is better to prepare more in advance, and when test time comes, stop studying!

Good Luck!

Be really familiar with the test paper. They don't vary much. So just practice, practice and practice some more. I recommend the official SAT book by collegeboard. The tests there are very similar to what you will face on the actual day.

And it also depends on what you're good at. If English is what you usually ace, you should spend more time practicing the Math section, which was what I did.

Best of luck.
