I am very afraid what's going on now in this country. This isn't fair to us as Americans. How much more do we have to give up to satisfy Bush? Should we allow the government to go willy nilly through our private lives? Who needs that?

We haven't lost any rights.

But I do care what's been happening with this country. We've been led into a false war. Our national debt has risen to over eight Trillion dollars. Our Social Security money has been funnelled into other things, making me unsure of what will happen when I want to retire. The U.S. is disliked, even hated, in most parts of the world. There are even unpatriotic idiots in the U.S.!!
The G.O.P. has greatly stained our integrity and ruined the U.S.'s good name. I just hope it's not too late to reverse this negative trend.

Yes, I care about what's happening with this country. That's why I voted for Bush twice and I feel strongly that anyone who DOES care about what is happening in this country should vote Republican tomorrow! How has the government gone "willy nilly through your private life?" Got any examples? Of course not! Typical liberal rhetoric!

50.0001% of America cares and work tirelessly to destroy the Constitution.

Most republicans are in zombiesque lockstep on the road to destruction.

This is a normal pattern experienced with every great Nation in the history of civilization. The vultures gather and circle as the destroyers cut and run one Human Right after another.

Wait, Obama isn't president and the present one has approved "huge brother" to wiretap your telephone and not using a warrant. That being suggested, you're frightened of Obama? sounds like you made up the tale in basic terms to adhere the Obama jab in there. yet another aside, what does the motorized vehicle coverage component ought to do with something? it really is a voluntary gadget that you don't want to position in. It saves them money because it makes particular they don't seem insuring those who pressure 900 mph in the street.

Most of the other responders took care of it, and I would second their notion that we haven't really given up many rights, if any, and other presidents have taken similar actions. There is nothing to be afraid of, unless you are a terrorist, and then you should care and your private life shouldn't be private.

can you tell me just one right you have lost? can you just tell me one?

this is a typical, standard liberal rant.
if i was losing rights, i would care.

i'll tell you what you are really afraid of. its if a democrat gets in office in 08 that they will use the patriot act in a perverted way to spy on you. THAT is what you are really concerned about. god knows what the libs would do if they had access to your stuff. we all know what hillary did with info she should have been no where near stashed in her office on her opponents.

This is getting quite old....without copying the DNC talking points, or the endless number of liberal websites and blogs, exactly what right have you given up-on a personal level?

Name one right you have lost. ONE!!!!

Did you know Clinton also authorized wiretapping? No, of course not, because you are unformed. Did you know that France and England actually use even more pervasive types of wiretapping? No, of course not, you are uninformed. Go back to bed.
