yes it is their money, and it's not being directed in the ways i see fit, and I know there are other foundations that dont do nearly as much but money is made with the intent to be spent ! and if it remains in the hands of the few, doesn't it slow and harm the overal economy? On average a humans heart beats about 2 billion times in one's life, so how does it make you feel to know that one beat of Bill Gates heart is worth more than your hole lifes work ?

They donate a lot. They also have the right to keep their savings for a rainy day as well. I dont think its wise to give it all away, but to give some is a great thing to do.

Yeah its theirs alright---but think of all the programs they could totally fund thru-out the world! Even if they spent every cent they have right now---its not like they'd be broke tomorrow
