yes. my boss doesnt think women should go to school. he's straight off the boat italian. he also told me that only the beautiful girls get jobs in naples italy where he was from.
one of the guys i work with at my other job hired "barbie" over "ugly betty" for an assistant position even tho "betty" was MUST more qualified.
i'm so sick of it all. i want to start a company thats only women and we discriminate against dumb jocks.
oh oh oh!!!! i completely forgot about this but it REALLY pissed me off. my bf and i went to home depot, and there was a guy inside the double doors selling AC units. well, he said "hello" and being the nice person i am cut him off and said "hello" and then he finished his sentence with "sir." i was really mad, but what made it worse was that we went in about a month later and the same guy was standing there and he just flat out said "hello sir how are you today" and thankfully my bf stood up for me and said "she's fine thanks for asking"
we were going to get a buisiness card the next time he's standing there cause thats flat out wrong, i was the person standing closest to him and he's ignored me completely when i even spoke to him. but i'm not a man, so why would i need an AC?............

I don't know where some of these posters live, but where I am from (western country) the workplace is loaded with female CEOs. Some of the statements on here, I have to say, are falsehoods and need to be addressed. Many many women, at least where I come from, are in very high management positions and they take place in droves. I'd suggest, maybe, doing some research on the topic?? Women in marketing positions, for example, at the executive level make well over $100K per year. I don't know where the problem lies? Women are getting their fair share, and more so. Thus, they are ever more so ending up as the breadwinners of the family, single mothers/CEOs alike. I am pretty pleased with how far women have come, but that didn't arrive without a lot of the downsides, either, e.g. housing market went through the roof courtesy of the housewife having to go into the workforce to support skyrocketing home prices. I love to stay home full time to raise my third child and, thankfully, am able to do so, in my current situation. However, it wasn't always th

Only if I get around a group of woman that work outside the home. I am a stay at home Mom and before that a stay at home wife and I also homeschool. I only know of one other family her in my town that homeschools. In our community there are some stay at home Moms, but a big percentage work outside the home just to makes ends meet. If I stay away from all the clickesh groups that tend to be at Gymnastics and ballet then I am fine. I guess it all depends on who you are hanging out with, if you are in a big group, etc. I don't get any flak on a daily basis when I am out and about town. Most people are nice and keep to themselves.

YES! I am a stay at home mom, I don't have any children of my own. However, I am raising my niece and nephew and I foster children through the DHS system. I choose to be a stay at home mom and I have been working out of the home for a very long time and now I like to be a stay at home mom, and people don't think my job isn't important like my husbands. But, my job is more important and its more time consuming. I praise the stay at home moms!

Yes. Constantly. I like when men want to know personal things about me and act like I am a HUGE B if I don't want to tell them things.
Or when they think I need help because I am a girl. Or when I know I am not going to get a job because I don't have a wiener. Or when I take my car to get fixed and they act like they need to explain everything like I am a child.
