It can be said, without being true:
SEX is the process of preservation, despite all of the perversions attributed to it and ascribed to it.
CASH rules only in and environment which it is available. The whole world is not on the same economy. Nor is the whole world exchanging CASH.
LOVE is the CASH of Sex, in this context. It rules by denial or over-abundance.
PEACE rules the world. Or does it?
SEX rules until it has had enough and achieving that, the SEX driven find PEACE. There is never enough SEX.
CASH rules if it can be exchanged. The greedy will find PEACE when they have every thing they are lead to believe they desire. They will always be lead to something else.
LOVE rules when it is accepted for what it is. LOVE is the ethereal essence of the immense being we are all apart of, whatever it may be.
Analogy: Imagine for a moment that our GALAXY is a NEUTRON of an ATOM of some other UNIVERSE of which we are a part but due to our relative size cannot detect.
Summary:
What rules the world?
NATURE rules.
We are shaped by it and allowed to live as long as we respect its rule.
Our complexion is determined by the geographic region in which our ancestors survived. Whether indoors avoiding the sun or outdoors in the air.
Sex allows us to exchange the oldest or most survival related genes shared between our species.
Science can make alterations but they still operate under the rules of NATURE. Science is the pursuit of an understanding of NATURE so we can plot a path toward more survival.
The more we understand of NATURE the better our chances of survival; an example would be the appeal of the strength of the character in the television series "MacGyver".
The Christian tenants of "Know thyself" and "My body is my Temple" have very empowering implications if explored and adhered to for the sake of your own longevity. I am NOT advocating you be neither Christian nor religious. (But in lieu of a good education it is considered a good start.)
KNOWLEDGE of NATURE rules.
Like a ripple in a pond what you know can expand your understanding and perhaps the perception of your influence.

Out of the 3 answers given to choose from, I'd have to say money. To take it a step further, I beleive GREED rules the world, whether it be for money or anything else, people just don't know hopw to be thankful for the little things anymore and alwsys want more!!
