Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) is the leading cause for cell abnormalities, Dysplasia and Cervical Cancer... it is a STD that women usually get from men... there is NO WAY for a man to know he has it unless he has genital warts... HPV also causes those too... there are over 100 strains of the virus... a dr. can diagnose HPV only after you have a colposcopy exam.. which is a pap smear in which the dr. uses a special liquid and a special microscope to look at you cervix with.... I have Mild Dysplasia... thats how I know this stuff...
