how true do you find that to be on answers. do you think it's better to research it yourself, or do you have better luck coming here?

Yes, I agree. That way if you **** it up, you have noone to be made at but you. Besides people can give some pretty harsh answers on here.

If I seriously need an answer to something, not an opinion, I research myself. I like facts better than other peoples' philosophies.

Depends.
We are going to NYC next year, so I asked some specific questions on travel>us>nyc relating to area locations and things to do.
But I usually don't come here looking for answers to life's questions, I reserach that stuff myself.
