im not sure its a question of raising taxes, rather a redistribution of current spending

Hell no! Taxes are high enough. They (the politicians) need to take pay cuts and use that money to pay for all the starving people. Leave us poor working people alone for a change!!

No - they should just make the corporations pay their fair share of taxes rather than sticking it to the middle class (& some of us are working more than 1 JOB)!

are there starving people and homeless people in the super power country,astonishing. they can spend some portion of the war money to see these people needs.

No, it would make more starving and homeless people. A lot of people live in poverty as it is now.

Shelter/Job training.

EDIT. I do pay my share. Food bank donations. United Way. Serve dinners in our Church. Donate to low income school lunch programs.

No. I do, however, think that they should get all the illegals off of government aid and then true American citizens could get the help they need.
